The Empyreal Force (Who are They?)

Someone once asked me why did I create the Superhero team, The Empyreal Force, and after I paused for just a moment my response then became instantaneous and crystal clear. As a kid growing up in the late 70's and 80's, I was always interested in science fiction, sports, superheroes, action heroes and mythological folklore. Being an avid comic book fan of both DC and Marvel comics, I was always intrigued at the incredible stories many comic book writers and illustrators put together solely for my entertainment. So much so, that my folks allowed me to subscribe to a few titles; it was like I could almost predict the day the mailman would deliver my issues of "DC Comics Presents", "The X-Men", and others. Those were the days!

But, back to why I created The Empyreal Force. That must be preceded by me telling you who they are. The Empyreal Force is a band of superheroes with incredible superpowers. This powerful team consists of The Prayer Warrior, Zanthya (the Magician), The Eon Soldier, Trackstarr, Kandace Marvel, The Solar Sultana, and The Kaptivator. Some stories have even featured guest appearances by our 44th US President, Barack Obama

Members of the Empyreal Force can harness the power of the sun, control gravity, travel  through time, manipulate matter, use magic to reveal the past and future, race at super-sonic and light speeds, and demonstrate super powers through faith filled prayers made to the Almighty God (of Abraham).  Simply put, The Empyreal Force was created to educate, spiritually inspire, inform, and entertain. Most importantly, it's our motto to provide intriguing, high quality comic book stories that are appropriate for kids and young adults as an alternative to more questionable products produced by other companies in the market. PerfectWorldComics.com, publishers of The Empryeal Force can be counted to always be "kid and young-adult friendly".

Finally, as a creator and writer of The Empryeal Force, I wanted to push the envelope and make sure there are various alternatives to only the hard copy book format of comic books and graphic novels. As a result, PerfectWorldComics.com has become a  world wide leader in instant, downloadable (e)electronic-Comic strips and eBooks that do not require special eBook reading software. No matter if it's New York, Kenya, Atlanta (Georgia), the Bahamas, or Brazil, our customers can instantly enjoy electronic comic books delivered via the web in just minutes.

So on this 2008 Thanksgiving morning, just a few minutes after midnight, I'm really thankful that I could bring this Super Team of heroes to the world.  And as I think more about that, I remain persistently confident that the readers will continue sharing my sentiments. Thanks for blogging with me!

Congratulations! It is so great to see another African-American comic book artist/writer coming forward with an excellent work. You most definitely are among the rank of other comic book artists/writers who strived to to create a product that our youth and young adults can enjoy and relate too. But as we can see in the tread in our media today just because the main characters are of African descent it does not meaan that other cultures cannot be entertained by them as well i.e., Hancock, Last Holiday, Blade etc. May God continue to bless you in your endeavors!
